Gloria A. Byrd Scholastic Achievement Award
Scholarship named in honor of the late Gloria Byrd – member of the chapter interest group
The Gloria A. Byrd Scholastic Achievement Award provides financial assistance to graduating African American female students who reside in the Princeton School District and who wish to enroll in institutions of higher learning. The annual scholarship is awarded to exceptional young women who demonstrate academic excellence, commitment to community service, and a devotion to personal achievement.
Since 2005, the Chapter has distributed approximately $100,000 in scholarships and awards to deserving high school seniors in the Princeton School District.
