Health & Human Services

The focus of the Health and Human Services Facet is to educate our members and our community on health disparities and health issues affecting people of color especially those involving the health of women and children in our community. The HHS also strives to educate our members on pertinent health care policy legislation locally and nationally and utilizes the valuable resources from our National Organization and local stakeholders alike.  By working with our Girls STEAM academy, we endeavor to expose our children and their families to important health education and the opportunities available to them in the health professions.
