A Message From The President
Ruby Crawford-Hemphill
Greetings from- Queen City (OH) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. “Linked in Friendship and Connected in Service”, The Links, Incorporated is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations comprised of professional women committed to enriching, sustaining and transforming the lives of those we serve in our communities and beyond. We have been committed to providing impactful programming that serves and strengthens communities in the Greater Cincinnati area for the past 15 years.
Take time to peruse our site learning about our creative and sustainable award-winning programs. Queen City (OH) Links, Incorporated empowers girls to be represented in related industries that are underrepresented by African American women. Our Girls STEAM Academy (GSA) creates a pipeline of African American girls who are equipped with 21st Century skills and capable of excelling in STEAM careers.
Read about our ongoing partnership with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) where we provide financial and educational support for the Nouveau Chamber Players, an ensemble of African-American and Hispanic students studying and participating in the classical arts. We also are proud of the more than $100,000 in academic scholarships awarded to deserving students in the Princeton and Cincinnati School Districts.
We invite you to join us on Saturday, May 9, 2020, as we celebrate our “Crystal Life” of 15 years during an afternoon soiree fundraiser. This annual fundraiser helps us generate funding needed for continued support of our impactful programming and scholarships.
With our sincere appreciation, Queen City (OH) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, thank you for your ongoing support as we work diligently to cultivate and transform the lives of others and help create hope for our future.
In Friendship and Service,
Ruby Crawford-Hemphill
