Queen City (OH) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated

Our Mission

The Links, Incorporated is an organization comprised of women of African heritage who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the identities, culture and economic survival of all people of African origin through cultural, educational and civic programs.

Through our partnerships we promote activism to help bring about positive change that transcends time, race and socio-economic differences.

Empowering the Community Through Education and Social Initiatives

QCCL change is a community-focused organization that was founded in 2005. We are dedicated to making a positive impact in Lincoln Heights and the surrounding areas through various programs and initiatives.

Creating Opportunities for Growth and Development

Our chapter evolved from the Queen City Women’s Club and has since launched impactful programs like “Create an Opera,” health fairs, academic workshops, and social development initiatives.

Supporting Breast Cancer Research and Awareness

We honor the memory of Mrs. Gloria Byrd, a breast cancer victim, by actively supporting cancer research, participating in annual walks, and awarding the “Gloria A. Byrd Scholastic Achievement Award” to local female students.

Building a Stronger Community Through Collaboration

We believe in the power of collaboration and work closely with community partners to implement impactful initiatives that address the needs of our community.
