The Queen City (OH) chapter of The Links, Incorporated was chartered on May 28, 2005 with 41 Charter members and its primary service area being Lincoln Heights. The origin for this chapter grew from the Queen City Women’s Club, established in 2000 and organized by Margaret Horton, Sylvia Joyner, and Paulette Keys.

Chapter History

The Links, Incorporated, Queen City (OH) Chapter traces its roots back to the Queen City Women’s Club. Founded in 2000 by Margaret Horton, Sylvia Joyner, and Paulette Keys, the chapter officially became a part of the International Chain of Linkdoms on May 28, 2005.

Chapter History: A Legacy of Community Impact

Since our inception in 2005 in Lincoln Heights, Ohio, with 41 charter members, we have launched impactful community initiatives. These include the ‘Create an Opera’ Program at Lincoln Heights Elementary School, various health and wellness workshops, the ‘Peace Pals’ social development program, and annual events like the ‘Health Links’ Health Fair and the International Festival.
