Queen City (OH) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated
The Links, Incorporated has a long tradition of promoting and engaging in educational, civic and inter-cultural activities that enrich the lives of members of the Black community at large. The cornerstone of our service is our five programming facets — Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services. Through our facets, we implement programs and initiatives that address the most critical needs of the community. QCCL change, incorporates all aspects of the program facets within our Girls STEAM academy.
Our Services to Youth programs are crafted to unlock success and growth in young black youth. We strive to make a difference, nurturing future leaders and influencers who will positively impact our community.
QCCL change harnesses the arts’ power to educate, uplift, and inspire. We enhance arts education in local schools and curate cultural events, celebrating creativity and diversity in our community.
The National Trends and Services facet addresses social inequities in black communities, raising awareness on economic, health, and social justice barriers affecting our quality of life.
The International Trends and Services facet delivers transformational programs to people of African ancestry globally, enhancing their quality of life through various services and initiatives.
The Health and Human Services facet educates our community on health disparities and issues affecting people of color, focusing on women and children’s health in particular.
The Scholarship Initiative of The Links, Incorporated, Queen City (OH) Chapter stands at the intersection of education and community engagement. This program is designed to assist ambitious students in reaching their academic aspirations and encourages them to become active, service-oriented contributors to their communities.
